A Tagging Gun Comes in Two Styles

A tagging gun is the small hand-held tool that is used by most retail stores use to tag things like clothes and other items made of cloth. Sometimes, it is called a pricing gun or price tagger. It can be operated with one hand and most can be used with both regular fasteners and hook fasteners.

Pricing guns come in two basic styles, standard and fine, which refers to the size of the hole made in the fabric. As a general rule, fine taggers are used with delicate fabrics. A fine tagger also has a shorter needle so while a Standard gun will go through 1/2" thick fabric, a fine gun will only tag through 1/4" thick material. Because parts for these tools are not interchangeable, make sure that the barbs and needles you get are the ones for your model.

If you are looking for a tagging gun, we recommend that you select one from a reliable source, one that also stocks fasteners and needles. A reputable retail supplier like Nu-Era carries a good selection of tagging guns, tagging kits and accessories.
